Family Medicine Spokane, an affiliated Family Medicine Residency Program of the University of Washington School of Medicine, is one of two sites in Spokane that provides 3rd year required clerkships in Family Medicine for University of Washington medical students. The University of Washington provides housing for these students and the hospitals provide meals.
Additionally we provide a Sub-I (688) in Family Medicine for 4th year medical students from the University of Washington and other allopathic and osteopathic medical schools. Medical students will participate on an Inpatient Family Medicine team. The hospitals do provide meals and FMS will assist you in finding affordable housing. Family Medicine Electives (699) for 4th year medical students are available to University of Washington Medical Students and Medical Students from other allopathic and osteopathic medical schools.
