Applicant Interviews

The Application Information, Personal Statement, and Letters of Recommendation are used in selecting individuals to interview whose goals and interests seem compatible with these two programs. Applicants may apply to one or both of these programs. All applicants for FMSRTT interview in Spokane. Applicants interested in interviewing with the FMSRTT program in Colville, Washington will then interview the following Tuesday in Colville. Please contact Barbara Cottrell, Residency Coordinator to arrange interview dates.

Please apply early in September when ERAS opens to allow ample time for travel arrangements for an interview. We review applications immediately upon the transmittal through ERAS.  Encourage those individuals writing your letters of recommendation to send them early enough to your Dean's Office that they can be transmitted before the end of October. Interviews are usually scheduled in November, December, and early January. Seven residents per year are accepted through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for FMS and one resident is accepted through the NRMP for FMSRTT in Colville, WA. We do not sponsor any visas.

(We work individually with applicants to accommodate schedules.)
